I do not deny things have been quiet here at CeeGee Toons since the start of the year. I have no excuses, just a combination of behind-the-scenes work, current events, and other priorites.
Thankfully, I have achieved one of my main goals in getting the site's front page and navigation set up in a way that I am fairly happy with. With that done, plus the addition of the 'Graphics' section to the gallery pages, I can hopefully focus more on content.
In regards to the t-shirts, you may be aware that I had to close the Teemill store earlier this year. However, since then, a new CeeGee Toons store has been opened at Redbubble. Again, this will act as a secondary store to the main Teepublic store, providing an extra option for shoppers and fans.
At the moment, new designs will debut on Teepublic, before being added to Redbubble at a later date. Keep an eye on the main CeeGee Toons site for more information; if anything changes, that's where you'll hear it first!
On the topic of new t-shirts, following the recent 'Hyena' design will be a new design style for CeeGee Toons: Teletext art!
So if you like what you see here on CeeGeeFox, you will be able to buy merchandise featuring similarly-styled images! In fact, the very first design is available right now. What's more, you can catch a preview of this new design at the end of this video!
If you like what you see, shop links will be in the description.
Club Nintendo Archives
Club Nintendo Archives has seen some major updates so far. Much like CeeGee Toons, it has received updates in menus and navigation, as well as a new logo design.
The menu changes included combining all the magazine listings onto one page, giving visitors a single list to search through, rather than numerous smaller pages. The Guestbook was another new addition, providing visitors with an alternative means of contact and site interaction outside of emails.
However, CNA's biggest update came on the day of the site's third birthday. Thanks to the help of some volunteers, the remaining issues from Volumes 1 and 2 have been added to the main archive page. This puts the site closer to completion.
But if CNA is nearing completion, what of its future? There are still some bits and pieces to be added, including some information that I have recently gotten hold of. Also, the 'Articles' page has at least one update that's been on the back-burner for a while.
The goal of Club Nintendo Archives was to provide information for fans. So even when the main archive pages are complete and updates slow down, I hope to keep the site going as a resource for the fans.
Thanks to everyone who has visited and enjoyed CNA so far, and welcome to those of you who are visiting for the first time. May CNA continue to be a fun and useful resource for everyone.
As usual, I'd like to remind you that I am not on centralised social media such as Facebook, Twitter or Instagram. My main contact is through email, the details of which can be found on both my sites ('About' page on CeeGee Toons, 'Site Info' on Club Nintendo Archives).
Alternatively, you can also use the Guestbook on Club Nintendo Archives if you wish to drop a quick message about that site.
Don't forget, I have also started selling merchandise with teletext style art; a preview of my first design is coming right up, and the shop links will be in the description.
With all that said, goodbye for now. Take care and...
HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!
